Tibetan Astrology

Tibetan astrology is certainly one of the least known branches ofastrology. Practiced almost entirely by monks, it has been said to be self-secret, hidden within the very fabric of Tibetan Buddhism. The icon buttons shown here are from the program's main screen and access the many program features. Since Tibetan astrology operates from the traditional "Lunar Year," the data-input screen converts birth data into lunar-year equivalents.

To use this program, you will need to enter your birth Month, Day, and Year into the pull-down controls in the upper-left-hand part of the screen. You will select ‘Male’ or 'Female’ for the birth chart, since some of the Tibetan techniques have different calculations for men and women. The current date is automatically put in for the 2nd Chart (top-right of screen). After entering data, you simply click the Convert to Lunar Calendar button to run the calculations and display the main screen.
