Win*Star Tips by Frank Piechoski
If you want to make a series of charts (one for each day of the month
for forecasting, or one for every fifteen minutes for setting an election
time, for example), the Rectify feature of Win*Star makes this task quick
and easy.
Make the first chart, say for the first day of the month at noon in
your location. Then for each following day, use this procedure:
- Click on the "extra" menu button, and then on
"Rectify."
- Using the rectify box on the left side of the screen that pops up,
click on the hour button 24 times to move to the next day at the same
time. If the desired interval is different, highlight the houses,
minutes or seconds and then the arrows to move forward or backward in
time.
- You can set the chart to redraw by clicking the box in the window to
the left of the chart.
- When you have the desired result, you can save the new chart, and it
will replace the one you had before. For rectification you can repeat
this procedure until you have a chart to save, and then save that one.
This way you do not clutter up your database with every chart you
calculate, and you don't have to leave the rectify page to see multiple
charts for consecutive days. However, if you save the chart, you can then
use other Win*Star features, come back to the rectify page, advance the
chart, etc. This feature is useful for repetitive work such as daily
forecasts.
